News:

Opening times since May 5th:
Tuesday-Saturday 13:30-18:30

Closed exceptionally on Saturday May 24th to go to Caves Ouvertes 2025.

We fix stuff.

mostly bicycles.

(but you're always welcome to bring your lawn chairs, knifes, printers, coffee machines, scooters…)

Shop:

We also sell some stuff! But the shop is small. Almost always in-stock are:

  • Spare parts for bikes (chains, brake pads, disc brake rotors, tires, tubes, bottle cages, racks…)

  • Accessories (chain lube, locks, water bottles, tire levers, inflate and repair cartridges, handlebar tape…)

For the rest: most of what you might need is generally available in 2-3 business days from our supplier network.

Bike services:

Of course, we do common bike repairs (see the price list here), like:

  • Bike check-up and cleaning

  • Punctures

  • Wheel truing

  • Chain replacement

  • Hydraulic brake bleeding

But we can also do:

  • Custom bike builds or sales on-request: gravel, durable commuter, touring bike, cargo bike…

  • Custom wheel building

  • Bike mechanic courses

  • Bike purchase consulting

  • Bike security modeling (alarm locks, frame locks, storage pods/racks)

  • Aftermarket mods!:

    • Tubeless conversion

    • Internal gear hubs (Rohloff, Pinion, Effigear, Alfine/Nexus)

    • 1x drive train

    • Carbon belt (Gates Carbon Drive)

    • Fixie/singlespeed

    • Solid tires (Green Tyre / Tannus)

    • Oversized pulley wheels

    • Ceramic bearings (CeramicSpeed)

    • Chain waxing with hypersonic cleaner (Effetto Mariposa, Silca)

    • Oval chainrings (absoluteBlack, Garbaruk, Wolf Tooth)

  • You name it:
We have the suppliers, a fair share of knowledge, you have the idea. If we don't have the two (which can happen quiet often), we can get them.
Where bike shops will sell you a new bike, we'll first try our best to make yours the one you want.

Other services:

  • Knife sharpening

  • Printer conversions to refillable cartridges

  • Electric scooter conversions to solid tires

  • Coffee machines repairs (La Pavoni, Olympia, E61, Jura)

  • It's a workshop!

Ethics:

"La Bonne Vitesse" means "The Right Speed". Here, we:

  • are always fully honest

  • drink coffee or beer depending on the mood

  • try to work with European parts as much as possible

  • take care of the environment

  • take every job (provided we have time and it makes sense to have us do it)

  • love to nerd out about your bike

  • sometimes work for cheap, sometimes not

  • sometimes work quick, sometimes not

  • love to nerd out about other things too

  • work alone or with others depending on the need

  • sometimes like, sometimes dislike what the bike industry is pushing

  • rant on 11spd on ebikes (you can still come)

  • love the work we do and hope you'll love it too

Everybody is always welcome.
